# print-xkcd [![standard-readme compliant](https://img.shields.io/badge/readme%20style-standard-brightgreen.svg?style=flat-square)](https://github.com/RichardLitt/standard-readme) > Print an [XKCD](https://xkcd.com) comic, nicely formatted [hackwhacktackbang.fyi/print-xkcd](https://hackwhacktackbang.fyi/print-xkcd/) ## Table of Contents - [Background](#background) - [Usage](#usage) - [Contributing](#contributing) - [License](#license) ## Background I wanted to print [XKCD](https://xkcd.com) comics [with the title text showing](https://www.reddit.com/r/xkcd/comments/62pec7/psa_people_who_print_out_xkcd_comics_for_whatever/) and a nice logo and link for the uninitiated in my work area. [This thread](http://forums.xkcd.com/viewtopic.php?t=19803) was basically no help, since it points to [this post](http://forums.xkcd.com/viewtopic.php?p=207633#p207633), which links to a [GreaseMonkey script](https://www.mit.edu/~je18337/greasemonkey/xkcdprintable.user.js) that is no longer available, another [GreaseMonkey script](https://userscripts-mirror.org/scripts/show/87061) (possibly the same one?) that was last updated in 2012, and [Dennis Williamsons' printifier](http://px.denniswilliamson.us/denniswilliamson/px/), which is down. There's also a [Chrome Extension](https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/xkcd-alt-printer/hcgaaclbgbaglppajpcjhjpmpgmpglml), but Google knows too much already. I decided Something Must Be Done™, so I wrote a website to do it. ## Usage Visit the [website](https://hackwhacktackbang.fyi/print-xkcd/). ## Contributing > Contributors to this project adhere to the [Code of Conduct](CONDUCT.md).
