+# A leap of faith
+
+A couple of months has now passed since my dad passed away. I promised myself
+some time away from things once i had finished off the practicalities after my
+dads passing away. Those it turns out takes longer than i would have thought
+and are more exhausting than expected. Therefore i made the decision to quit my
+current role as Tech Lead. I hope and believe that it will leave energy to 
+finish things off and come out stronger on the other side.
+
+I have my last day at june 30th and will after that spend my time selling stuff
+etc. from my dad.
+Once this is done, my plan is to go on an extended travel to reset and come 
+back stronger.
+
+What the future brings is currently uncertain. But sometimes you just have to
+take a step out of the comfort zone. I am turning 40 in august which also 
+leaves this a good time to reflect on where i will be going with my carreer.
+
+- Should i go freelance?
+- Should i go solopreneur?
+- Look for funding and start a startup?
+- Join a remote first company?
+- Go digital nomad?
+- Go back to a classic carreer path?
+
+The questions are many and i have few answers. But the future is bright and i
+believe that whatever decision i end up making will leave me wiser.
