#Atmosphères

A static site generator for my music collection.

Written in Go and using htmx and SQLite. Outputs static HTML suitable for putting in a public_html or S3 bucket.

#Name

Atmosphères eschews conventional melody, harmony, and rhythm, in favor of "sound masses" with sliding and merging orchestral clusters that suggest timbre is the central focus of the piece. It exemplifies Ligeti's notion of "static, self-contained music without either development or traditional rhythmic configurations."
