• By reading text and selecting how you want it to be expressed, the device can use computer speech and a simple LED screen to communicate roughly the idea that the user actually wants to express.

• A device which provides rough translation without an internet connection for situations where an online translation system is inaccessible
• By inputting ideas in a graph-like grammar, a simple translation can be created that doesn't have to handle the complex grammar systems of the host language
