As October begins to wind down and the leaves begin to change, now is the chance to take a moment and reflect on all the wonderful, exciting, and crazy events this month has brought to the Hive. Whether it be winning our Homecoming game against Shawnee 54 to 0 or celebrating the wonderful diversity of our school through the Hispanic Heritage assembly, October has been a busy month for all of us.
I would like to take the time to thank everyone who has made _The Taliaferro Times _possible. First and foremost, to Tara Waugh, our sponsor, I would like to say thank for believing in our project and giving us the support needed to go above and beyond expectations. To Nate Ijams, the co editor-in-chief, I would like to give my unending gratitude for being able to do all the things that I am unable to, whether it be formatting an entire website or merely solving an AP Statistics problem. To all the writers, editors, and photographers, I want to tell you how much I appreciate your effort, strong work ethic, and capability. It’s not an easy job to meet a close deadline, but you all manage beautifully and without you, this paper would cease to exist. Lastly, thank you to our readers who give us the positive reinforcement that we need to keep moving foreward. Every single one of you makes our mission possible: making Booker T. a place where your voice matters.
