to guarantee it will stay as free as possible for the end user, today, use latest agpl double license (against fsf own recommendation).

it doesn't legally protect against stupidity, but it sure protects the code "libre freedom" better than ALL other popular licenses that exist today, such as MIT, freebsd, or even any other gnu's.

it ain't permissive? those allow abusers to easily remove user freedom to access the code and know what the runs on the user processor.
